We stayed at this B&B and had a wonderful 3 days experience. The location is simply spectacular: our ocean-facing room had large windows with a beautiful view and a truly peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was very enjoyable and suitable for different needs: you can choose between a traditional Irish breakfast and other fairly varied options, all prepared by the host on request by leaving your preference the evening before. Everything was tasty and well prepared. A very special detail is the breakfast room, where you can admire both the mountain and the ocean: a relaxing setting, perfect for starting the day calmly. The hosts were lovely, welcoming and extremely helpful, always ready to give suggestions and directions on what to visit nearby. The room, we stayed in the one for three guests, and the bathroom were very spacious, well kept and equipped with tea and coffee facilities. The shared lounge was also very welcoming, with comfortable sofas and a lovely view of the ocean. This is the perfect place for those looking for peace, quiet and silence, at the foot of the mountain and facing the ocean. If you are looking for city life or the convenience of being in the city centre, it may not be the best choice. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend it. ------ Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B 3 nottie siamo stati benissimo. La posizione è semplicemente spettacolare: la nostra camera, lato oceano, aveva ampie finestrature con una vista meravigliosa e un’atmosfera di pace assoluta. La colazione è molto piacevole e adatta a diverse esigenze: si può scegliere sia la tradizionale Irish breakfast sia altre proposte abbastanza varie, preparate dalla host su richiesta, lasciando la propria preferenza la sera precedente. Tutto molto gustoso e curato. Un dettaglio davvero speciale è la sala colazione, da cui si possono ammirare sia la montagna sia l’oceano: un contesto rilassante, perfetto per iniziare la giornata con calma. Gli host sono stati davvero carini, accoglienti e super disponibili, sempre pronti a dare consigli e indicazioni su cosa visitare nei dintorni. La camera, noi eravamo in quella per tre ospiti, e il bagno erano molto spaziosi, curati e dotati anche di accessori per tè e caffè. Molto piacevole anche la sala comune lounge, accogliente, con divani e vista sull’oceano. È il posto ideale per chi cerca pace, tranquillità e silenzio, ai piedi della montagna e davanti all’oceano. Se invece si cerca vita cittadina o la comodità del centro città, probabilmente non è la scelta più adatta. Per noi è stata un’esperienza bellissima e lo consigliamo assolutamente.

We had a wonderful time! The room was very very cosy, it felt like home to us . You could see that a lot of work and love went into creating this place and we really enjoyed spending time there. Breakfast was also amazing and we really enjoyed the interactions with you and felt very welcome. Thank you so much, this stay was definitely the highlight of our trip so far and we will for sure recommend you to everyone we know :)

Absolutely beautiful location just a short drive from Sligo. The house is tastefully updated/decorated. Comfortable accommodations and breakfast was delicious. The host was super friendly and helpful. Would 100% stay here again if we're in the area.

Absolutely nothing

Our stay at Benbulben Farmhouse was absolutely fantastic. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of both the sea and the mountains. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, making it a very comfortable place to relax. The breakfast was incredible—everything was freshly prepared and made with high-quality ingredients. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay. I would 100% recommend it!

Marita was an amazing hostess and the house was immaculate. The grounds were breathtaking and the house had magnificent views and beautiful baby lambs everywhere.

There was not a single thing we did not like about our stay.

This was our favorite accommodation on our first trip to Ireland. Accommodations, breakfasts, hospitality, and views were exceptional. Marita and Ian are excellent hosts.

The hosts were so wonderful, helpful, kind, engaging, and Marita made the best scones and great breakfast every morning, with fresh cut up fruit. The property is beautiful and the view of Benbulben from one side and vista to the bay on the other side was spectacular. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. I would highly recommend this B&B. It is one of the very best.
